The AntagonistI was editing an obituary for our local paper when the stranger walked in. He had that slick-haired, painted smile facade that aggravated me to no end. I tried to avert my gaze so as to avoid unwanted attention but like all his kind, he seemed to sense it. I quickly looked back at my computer screen, hoping against hope that he would not try to talk to me.
At first I thought that luck had prevailed but then a pin-striped arm draped itself over the top of my monitor. "She loved you, ya know."

The Cowardly Connor Finds Courage in a Can(Part I)Hi! My name is Cheryl and I'm not the main character of this story. That would be Connor Coleson, the kindest, cutest boy who ever lived. Me? Well, I used to be his neighbor until I was murdered by the meanest man you could meet, Sheriff Fritz Fitzpatrick, who just so happens to be Connor's other neighbor. That's a story for another day though. Today I want to tell you about Connor and the time he found his courage.
By the time this story begins I had already been dead for quite awhile and had taken to following Connor everywhere he went. As a ghost you don't have many options. It's either stay with your body or stay with the thing you loved most and I certainly wasn't sticking around to see what would happen to my body. _{I've been on deviantart for five years now, but started this account almost two years ago when I decided I wanted to get a bit more serious about writing! I feel like I'm always learning and appreciate all the help and support this community has given me. My favorite reads are Christian Thriller/Horror's (yes they do exist) and anything with the sweet sort of romance that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

_{I've been a member of dA since January 2008, and a member of TWM since spring of that same year. Like many of you, I'm relatively new at writing, and came here seeking advice on how to better my craft. Novels and novellas are my what I prefer to pen, but I have yet to finish something! publish anything. My go-to genre is erotic romance, usually involving paranormal or fantasy elements. I've also recently been lured into the sci-fi realm. Occasionally the muse gets sidetracked with fan fiction. I also have yet to find a chain strong enough to keep her.

My views on being a founder... it's just a title (with a few cool superpowers). I want all of you to feel like you're able to steer this club in the direction you want it to go. I'm very approachable, so please don't hesitate to let me know your ideas.

Automechanical Soul

It's a feeling that's not really hate, and it's not really fear. There's not even any loathing. Not quite pity, not quite love. It sits quietly in the middle, balanced on a multi-directional tightrope, highly strung and thrumming with... something that's very similar to nothing.

Deadly Premonition GAME REVIEWDeadly Premonition is a survival-horror action game about Detective York Morgan who comes to a small town to investigate and solve the brutal murder of a young woman. It is one of those infamous games that people either love or hate, so where do I stand? Well, I am here to defend this game with all my might.

Originally released on the Xbox, I'm reviewing the Director's Edition for the PS3.
